Semester Reflection Semester 1 has come to an end and Winter Break is starting to begin. For Video Production we had to Create Advanced and featured news stories, and we had to make a sophomore edition of ONW Now. This was all done in the e-Communication Program. For our News story we had to Interview a student or teacher here and I volunteered myself to be interviewed. I chose the topic to talk about my action figure collection. For our Advanced featured news story we talked about National Art Honors Society, for Sophomore edition of ONW Now we just had to make our version of the news story. Each of these projects took about one to two weeks long, one week of filming and about one week of editing. one challenge I faced was during the advanced feature news story I was absent for two days and I did not know what we did but thank goodness was just more filming. my overall opinion about video is I love this class I have made good friends I had fun doing these projects. my teacher is...

for this project we had to interview someone about a specific topic which could be something interesting they did, or an embarrassing thing.  we had to write 21 questions for the subject being interviewed but we had to restart because our subject could be used for a possible later project. my role in the project was to record the b-roll for our videos and I was also the subject being interviewed. the idea was to interview me about my action figure collection. if I were to do something different and keep the same I would probably choose a different subject to talk about instead of my action figure collection. And if I were to keep something the same I would try to keep working with very productive and helpful people. in conclusion I really enjoyed this project and like always I look forward to the next project and I will try my best to continue to work hard and help my group members the best I can. 00040.mp4Video

In our group we were assigned to choose a daily procedure to follow in school. our idea was to see teachers during power 50 when assigned to. we had to script ideas and concepts. as well as finding a location, a teacher, as well as a reason to see that specific teacher. my role in the process was the student who failed a test and had to see the teacher during power 50. we communicated through on telling each other ideas and concepts as well as letting each other know where to be and when as well as giving out locations. if I were to do something different I would choose a different role to play instead of actor like maybe recorder/ camera operator. if I were to do the same I would continue to help my group members and stay on task and try my hardest to make the best that I can do.

My Self portrait is just a short pan around my room showing off my action figure collection. I chose to do this as the project because collecting is what I would call my passion. I have been collecting for 2 years now and I do not want to stop. I wanted to show others the things I am interested in the most like action movies and other stuff.  I did not use any fancy camera work. All I did was turn on my recording from my phone and just calmly walk around my room from shelf to shelf showing off my things. In the background I had music from the Transformers movie playing.  I hope viewers gain the fact that I could be a talkative guy and that I can get into some interesting conversations with. Finial reflection School is almost over and the finial project of E-comm. we had to do a shark tank sort of idea by creating a product with a website. this took a total of nine weeks to finish. we were set up in different groups to complete this project. we each split up to complete different tasks for the website. but we first had to come up with the idea. one thing we learned as a team was communication, collaboration, and teamwork. Our product is called Smart Lens which isa work/ gaming system int eh form of glasses. our feedback was mostly questionable. it was a good quarter making more friends and wee finished it with this cool idea for a project. we completed the entire project. each of us were given different tasks. This was the finial project before the beginning of spring break. and it was just like the last one creating a website. in this project we had to create a website using adobe dreamweaver. we had to edit a poem and re edit and copy two separate links to go to each different page the original and the remake. Contrast: we had to use contrast torpedo a poem that needed to be redone. by moving the dog picture from the middle to the right. and we needed to change the foreground and background color. Alignment: we had to use alignment to move the photo, the title, and some of the paragraphs. Repetition:  we had to repeat multiple steps the alignment of paragraphs, and the color changes. We needed to change the title color and use that color for the top link to the second page. link to website https://www.houseplans.com this was one of the hardest animation projects I had to do. there was so much editing and deleting to do for the finished product. we had to use sketchup to create a house and create scenes for the finial animation. we had to use house plans for this project to find a house to create. we had almost a month to complete this project but most delays thanks to the ice cold weather we had. but this was a interesting project to do. I had to use textures to fit the original design with bricks and wooden designed walls outside. our teacher only wanted us to focus on the outside not the inside. the hardest design to use was the door and the roof lining. one thing I learned was to use sketch up correctly. one thing I would do differently is I would select a different designed house, or try to add an interior and one thing I would do the same is use correct outside layering on the walls as from the original design. so this was a key assignment...
