Senior Final

  Five Guarantees: Communication-  I learned this one by the group projects in each project and the times spent with each person in the different groups Tech Skills-   used by mostly as a takeaway to edit, post, and use for Behind the Scenes when making each project Leadership- The one takeaway is that I used this skill to help me direct, the short film I made I was director and I got to communicate and assist the group to make a great film Collaboration- again mostly with communication we used this to collaborate our shared ideas into one big one to make the project into a masterpiece   Project Management-   Used to spend Time dedicated to finishing any and all projects by using all the precious skills to help me keep my focus and stay on track to finish any project and share it out to my fellow classmates. Film Reel blogpost

  Film Reel Our second project we had to do for video was our film reel. a film reel is a collage of most of our favorite project into one video as it blasts music through and shares our favorite shot scenes and videos we made. Mine did have some positives but also some negatives. i liked the shots i used and the ending to fade to my info was good but i did have some shots that didn't flow well with the music.  liked the music fine but some shots were a bit dark and not in like a hyped up or stuff i just chose my favorite song to use most of the shots i had did at least attempt to try to tell a story even though it was from different videos such as commercials i made to previous music videos even short films

The Date Reflection

The Date the short film I was working on for this project was the date. the script we chose was from our director Roman. we started with looking over our script and coming up with our storyboards, then we started looking for actors, then we made our advertisements for actors. and then we had to come up with ideas for locations. after that we started filming. after we got most of our scenes in we started editing. during our editing phase we also continued to film. and once our editing was finished we exported our complete film. the production role I had was location scout, and I helped with finding the cast and helped with whatever I could on set. one thing I would do differently is try to get a bigger production role to have. we used the five guarantees, I used communication by texting to the group while outside of school and during school, we used leadership with coming up with new ideas for the film. one thing I would do the same is continue to work with people I trust the most.

Junior Semester Final

Entertainment Video Semester 1 Junior   Lucas Wright Well, semester 1 of entertainment video has come to an end it was a very fun start for what the rest of the school year has planned for me and my fellow classmates. Below are just 3 examples pf projects I have done this semester Camera Assignment 1: This was the first project we had to do at the start of the year. We were given group members to come up with anything that could create that being either a commercial, music video, short film, etc. For this project my group and myself created a Nike Commercial as our video. this project took us about 2 weeks because we had to plan, storyboard, cast, film, edit. some of the challenges faced was just availability because I couldn't really help with the filming due to my job. some new things I learned that were very interesting was new ways to edit through such as the stabilizer setting which fixes shots that aren't still. Semester Reflection

Happy Campers Short Film Project For this project we had to create a short film and use one of our classmates ideas. During the beginning of this project we had to start in April because this project required a lot of time to plan the script and groups to create the project. One of the biggest challenges we faced was timing and availability due to our actors having jobs and other important business they had to take care of. One thing I learned on the way is that if someone is unable to come to the production or edit try to find a replacement as soon as possible to cover the task and get it taken care of. Some of the feedback was positive but the one complaint we had was our audio due to the voices being to quiet and unable to hear. in my overall opinion I would say this was one of my favorite projects to work on even though we filmed almost after a rain storm and it was really muddy I'm still glad we had found people to help get our film done. Movie Trailer Blog

My Name is lucas and in a class at school we had to do a trailer based on themes of a school like topic. My group and i chose a good film to do a trailer over and it was the breakfast club. iv'e been a fan of the movie for a while and doing a fan trailer with people from my classroom was a fun idea and wanted to give it a go. my role was to do the credits and try to help with as much as i can. i couldn't help much because of the fact that i have a job and usually cant get away from that. there are many things i tried my hardest to get right with the project and help my group as much as i can and if i were to do something different i would try to request work off earlier so i can help my teammates. the things my group accomplished with the filming was a great success for my grade in this class and if i were to keep one thing the same it would be to keep the same teammates or a selected few because of how talented they are and how well we can work for the next project whatever it

Music Video

For this project we had to create a music video. The Song we Chose is cradles by Sub Urban. we wanted to portray an image of a person going through some mental condition like dyslexia or something like that and makes him feel like he is being watched or followed by a mysterious shadow but nothing is really there. I didn't really have a role because I couldn't help with the planning or anything or filming so I guess I was just there for timing or something. I would probably use my skills more efficiently and plan ahead so I can help my teammates more often. one thing I would do the same is probably just use communication skills more and just kinda share ideas out that could possibly be a lot easier to do so we can possibly save time. I have gotten some experience to not waste time and use it wisely for these group projects and help around with my team more.
